Our visit to Doornkop Fish and Wildlife Reserve was everything and more! The views from our bedrooms were spectacular, and the sound of water from the river in the mornings and evenings was amazing. We tried identifying the birds and animals from the balcony area while enjoying coffee and chatting. The fireplace made our conversations and lounging very cosy. Our hike was a bit of a challenge, however, the waterfall was a great reward. We are currently planning our summer visit.

An unparalleled experience featuring tranquillity, peace, and nature! Try the hiking trails for some adventure, wildlife, and spectacular views! Doornkop is a great place to relax and recoup. The houses are comfortable with a warm fireplace, comfy couches, and spectacular views all around!

A true break away from modern life. With very little cell phone reception you will experience family bonding here. A wonderful opportunity for my kids to learn fly fishing with their dad. Highly recommend. The accommodation is well appointed with incredible views.

Awesome breakaway from life in a peaceful, tranquil setting. Really friendly staff that go beyond the call of duty to assist with queries or challenges. Definitely a "go back to" place!

Loved this place. Very beautiful view with routes where you can go for drives. Hearing the river at night. Horses walking almost into your Chalet. Just amazing.

Thank you for a lovely week at Doorkop Fish and Wildlife Resort! Very helpful admin, cleaning and maintenance staff. Also lots of different animals to see. It was also a pleasure to sit at the fishing dams and watch people enjoy themselves. I can recommend this Resort to anyone who might need to rest and get back to nature.

Quiet, tranquil, silence to calm yourself; and best part for me was that cell-phone reception is low so we could shut out all the stress.
